Terms and Conditions

Welcome to South Bay Garden Apartment. By booking and staying at our property, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit or full payment is required to secure your booking, as stated at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid before check-in, as per our booking terms.
  • Payments are accepted via Stripe (credit/debit card) or bank transfer.

2. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: From 4pm on the arrival date.
  • Check-out: By 10am on the departure date.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for full details.

4. Guest Responsibilities

  • The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the conduct of all guests.
  • Guests must take care of the property and report any damage immediately.
  • Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition upon departure.
  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property.
  • Pets are welcome but must be supervised, and any damage caused must be reported and paid for.  The garden must be cleared of any mess before departure.

5. Property Damage & Security Deposit

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
  • A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after departure, provided there is no damage or breach of terms.

6. Maximum Occupancy

  • The apartment accommodates a maximum of 4 guests.
  • Additional guests beyond the agreed number may result in termination of the stay without a refund.

7. Noise & Disturbances

  • Please respect our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11 PM - 8 AM.
  • Any complaints about excessive noise may result in early termination of the stay.

8. Minut Monitoring Device

  • For the safety and security of all guests, we have a Minut monitoring device installed in the property.
  • This device monitors excess noise, temperature, smoking, alarms, and humidity.
  • The Minut device does not record audio or video; it simply detects and alerts us to any unusual activity.
  • Guests are expected to adhere to noise limits and property rules to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

9. Liability & Insurance

  • We are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to guests’ belongings during their stay.
  • Guests are advised to take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

10. Parking

  • We provide a parking permit for one vehicle for the duration of your stay.
  • Additional permits are available for purchase if required.

11. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, extreme weather conditions).

12. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
